Day 1 for becoming a mainframe developer
I need money, I like programming. I like weird programming languages (even tho I don't actually know how to program, but that's another story). Why not learn COBOL and in general mainframe development ? I can use a weird programming language and make if god is with me, some money.
I actually know some basics of COBOL and even have a IMB Z explore account but I gave up. And then I remembered I have a blog, and that could be some easy writing to keep it alive.
So first let's put what resources I will use : https://www.mainframemaster.com/ https://openmainframeproject.org/ https://www.ibm.com/products/z/resources/zxplore
And now, I'm going to procrastinate and either post the continuation of my learning today or tomorrow.
